		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To my daughter Kathrin and all the readers who follow this blog:  I am very proud of you and I hope that everyone in the world will read that!</p>
<p>To answer your question about why I went back into the Army.  I can say only that it wasn’t for the money.</p>
<p>Sir Edmund Burke gives the best reason&#8230;  “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.  My country was asking for some help, so I jumped in. John F. Kennedy once stated in a speech&#8230;.&#8221;Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for you country&#8221;.</p>
